This Memorial Day weekend, AMC took a breather, and didn’t show the second episode from their emerging hit series “Preacher.” The debut of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg‘s adaptation of Garth Ennis‘ graphic novel was met with praise (we certainly had lots of fun with it), and the network is taking the opportunity of the gap in scheduling to make sure those that missed the pilot can catch up.
AMC has dropped the full first episode of “Preacher” on YouTube for your viewing pleasure. Viewer discretion is advised for the commercial-free, 65-minute episode, that provides a good amount of gore, and introduces you to the twisted world inhabited by preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga), vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), and more. Really, there’s no reason not to give this a shot, so be sure to set aside an hour this week.
