Watch: Emmy Rossum Takes Care Of Hilary Swank In Trailer For ‘You’re Not You’

You're Not YouThis weekend, Tommy Lee Jones‘ western "The Homesman," screens at Telluride, following its premiere this spring at Cannes, and it marks something of a comeback vehicle for two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank. But hitting cinemas first will be another movie from the actress that’s more’ indicative of the string of mediocrity she’s been associated with over the past few years including "Mary And Martha," "The Resident," "Conviction," "Amelia," "The Reaping" and "Freedom Writers."

Directed by Shana Feste ("Country Strong"), and co-starring Emmy Rossum, "You’re Not You" finds Swank playing a classical pianist stricken with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, who takes on a college student to help for her care. And together they form an unlikely bond, that is inspiring, heartwarming and thoroughly predictable the way these kinds of movies usually are. And while it is opening this fall, you can probably bet it won’t be in any awards conversations.

"You’re Still You" opens on October 10th in cinemas and on VOD. Watch below. [EW/Vlicious]
