Yes, yet another video tribute to the year in cinema, but this one is a step above most of the supercuts we’ve seen so far. In anticipation of their own Best Films Of 2014 list, the folks at UK site The Moviejerk has put together this rather lovely 4-minute video which is well worth a click.

Art, Whimsy, Pursuit, Integrity, Devotion, Isolation, Sorrow, Grief, Care, Humanity, Greed, Failure, Doubt, Lust, Action, Emotion….these are just some of the qualities featured in their choices, in a video that goes beyond the sizzle reel moments to make us consider why we fall for these films in the first place. It’s a nice piece of work that’ll make you want to get into a dark room and watch one of the best of the year (here’s our list) that you haven’t seen yet, as soon as possible.
