When it was first announced that
Arnold Schwarzenegger was returning to the "
Terminator" franchise, you couldn’t blame fans for getting excited. After all, it’s been over ten years since "
Rise of the Machines," and once he became governor of California, it seemed highly unlikely that it would ever happen. But, as with so many of Schwarzenegger’s other "comeback" films, there is sufficient reason to be skeptical about whether or not "
Terminator: Genisys" will be any good. A recent video by
Cracked humorously points out why.

If you found the "Terminator: Genisys" trailer thrilling, but had an uneasy feeling of deja vu while watching it, well, you’re not alone. Cracked’s video precisely explains why "Genisys" seems so familiar. And the reason? Several shots from "Genisys" look exactly the same as shots from previous "Terminator" movies. Whether it’s a crazy motorcycle stunt, a T-1000 liquefying through a windshield, or even that nifty shot of a bus flipping over? Yup, it’s all been done in the other films, just with slight variations. This revelation probably won’t be enough to deter fans from wanting to see the movie, but it is a bit concerning. Hopefully "Genisys" feels like a new chapter and not merely a greatest hits compilation. Either way, we won’t find out until July 1st. Check out Cracked’s video below. [via
