Fassbender: TV Spot For ‘Steve Jobs’ With New Footage Plus Pics From ‘Macbeth’ & ‘Trespass Against Us’

Steve JobsThe next few months are going to be non-stop Michael Fassbender, and that’s just fine by us. From playing a tech titan, to a great king, and even squeezing in an indie movie, the actor will be on the fest circuit and in theaters in a big way, so let’s take a quick look at what he’s got coming.

First up is "Steve Jobs," where he plays the Apple founder in an Aaron Sorkin penned look at the innovator, genius, and asshole that changed generations of computing, and was one of the most visionary talents in the industry. A new TV spot has arrived for the Danny Boyle directed movie and it features some brief moments of new footage and dialogue. "Steve Jobs" opens on October 9th and will hit both the New York and London film festivals.

Next is "Macbeth," which co-stars Marion Cotillard in the ambitious new take on Shakespeare play from director Justin Kurzel. The Weinstein Company will be releasing the movie through their arthouse shingle Radius in December, with an exclusive run on Amazon Prime to follow in 2016. Check out some new images below.

Co-starring Brendan Gleeson, Rory KinnearLyndsey MarshalSean Harris and Killian Scott, the story is set across three generations of the rowdy Cutler family who live as outlaws hunting hares, ram-raiding stately homes, and taunting the police. As the letter of the law finally catches up with Chad (Fassbender), he is torn between the archaic principles of his father (Gleeson) and what he believes is best for his children.

  1. I like Fassbender but not in this Steve Jobs movie. I don\’t like his voice and he looks nothing like Steve Jobs. Perhaps if they picked someone who looked like Steve Jobs ..say..Sean Harris, maybe it would seem believable. On a lighter note: I can\’t wait to see Prometheus 2 and X-men: Apocalypse those movies fit him better!!

  2. I don\’t know about you but I\’m a million times more excited to watch Macbeth than Steve Jobs. I mean, Apple\’s co-founder story that we already know and seen twice or a new adaptation of the Scottish play with the most beautiful and hottest actors of nowadays? Tough question!
