Got a Tip?

New Images From ‘A Good Day To Die Hard,’ ‘Snowpiercer’ & ‘Fast & Furious 6’

nullWith the awards season in full swing, and the Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival coming up, it's easy to forget that sometimes you just want to sit back with a big tub of popcorn, more soda than is legal in New York City and go a thrill ride. These three upcoming movies will hope to accomplish that, and we have some new images to get you ready for what's to come.

First up, Bruce Willis returns for yet another adventure as John McClane in "A Good Day To Die Hard." There has been some excitement building for this fifth entry since it's been recently revealed the movie will be coming stamped with an R-rating. But let's not forget it's written by Skip Woods ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine," "The A-Team") and directed by John Moore ("Max Payne," "The Omen"). So yeah, we'll see if this father-and-son-vs-the-Russians movie can stand along the best in the series, or merely just be better than "Live Free Or Die Hard." It lands on Valentine's Day.

Easily the movie we're most excited about of the three is Bong Joon-ho's "Snowpiercer." The English-language debut from the helmer of "Mother" and "The Host" boasts not only an amazing cast — Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, Song Kang-ho, John Hurt, Alison Pill, Octavia Spencer and Ewen Bremner — but a great premise, with the story taking place on a train carrying the only survivors of a post-apocalyptic future as revolt brews. This first image shows off Song Kang-ho (a frequent collaborator with Bong Joon-ho) and things don't look to be going well. Aiming for release this summer by The Weinstein Company, a Cannes premiere first seems likely.

Lastly, it's "Fast & Furious 6." The franchise came roaring back to life with "Fast Five," and the sixth installment is also likely to be a monster. We'll have to wait until the Super Bowl to see all the explosions, so for now we get a taste of sensitive Vin Diesel in an image that could be from any of the "Fast & Furious" movies. Anyway, you can smell the testosterone at a theater near you on May 24th. [HeyUGuys/The Film Stage/Vin Diesel]nullnull
