New Posters For ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ ‘The Bourne Legacy’ & ‘Hello I Must Be Going’

We got new posters from the grand finale of what’s been called the greatest trilogy of superhero films, the reboot of a spy franchise, and a Sundance dramedy.

Yeah, yeah, we know. You’re sick about reading about ”The Dark Knight Rises.” Just bear with us. There’s a brand-new IMAX exclusive poster for Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film and it’s kind of majestic with the skies parting in the shape of a bat for the Bat himself. There’s also another Bane poster courtesy of the viral site, TheFireRises.com, to follow the other one we gave you yesterday. With July 20th inching ever closer, the media onslaught surrounding the film is almost over and you’ll only have to keep hearing about it until Oscar time comes around. After that, it’s just news about the reboot that focuses on Bruce Wayne’s teenage years. [Coming Soon/IGN]

Universal has been killing it with the ad campaign for “The Bourne Legacy.” The trailers and TV spots have shown us just enough to excite us but not enough to spoil how the film ultimately plays out. The international poster continues the redaction-style artwork that’s been used since the teaser. We’re really intrigued by how Tony Gilroy has set the film around the events of “The Bourne Ultimatum.” The choice lets the studio have its cake and eat it too, allowing them to reboot the franchise yet leave the door open for Matt Damon’s return, which is a smart play. "The Bourne Legacy" opens August 10th, which should give the film enough room to breathe away from the behemoth that is “The Dark Knight Rises.” [Rope Of Silicon]

And lastly, we have the first poster for the newest release from the house that MCA built, Oscilloscope, with the Melanie Lynskey-starring Sundance dramedy, “Hello I Must Be Going.”

Our man in Sundance was a fan of the film, calling it “warm and funny, real and raw.” It’s Lynskey’s first meaty leading role after bouncing around in supporting roles in projects as disparate as the CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men” and Steven Soderbergh’s “The Informant.” Check out the film when it hits theaters September 7th.
