Got a Tip?

Watch: Ramin Bahrani-Directed Video For Sigur Rós’ “Ég Anda”

nullWell, while it doesn't have the uh, "benefit" of Shia LaBeouf's dong, the latest in Sigur Rós' ongoing series of videos for their latest album, Valtari, has rounded up the excellent Ramin Bahrani ("Man Push Cart," "Goodbye Solo") and the results are pretty great.

While we're not quiet sure what the message here is, the video is a series of beautifully composed shots that vary between urban and industrial landscapes, and a variety of wild animals as some kind of contrast. A subtle PSA for PETA? A plaintive cry of animal rights? Just a bunch of cool imagery? Maybe all three. But it's a controlled, assured and restrained piece of work, and one that also suits Sigur Rós' sound quite well. So good job all around everyone. No word yet on when we might see Bahrani's next feature effort "At Any Price" with Zac Efron and Dennis Quaid (fingers crossed for Venice), but this should be a nice placeholder for now. Watch below.
