Watch: 2 New Clips From Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’

nullNow that the U.S. presidential election is out of the way, folks will be gearing up to see another president in action with Steven Spielberg’s long-brewing “Lincoln.” And with the film opening in select theaters this weekend, a pair of new clips have been released.

First up is a clip centered around David Strathairn (as William Seward) hiring James Spader, John Hawkes and Tim Blake Nelson as, essentially, lobbyists to act on behalf of the President, all while dancing around the issue of bribery. The second clip has Tommy Lee Jones riling up his fellow congressmen while wearing a pretty sweet wig.

“Lincoln” opens in limited release this Friday and goes wide on November 16th. Check out the clips below.
