Zombie fans have a lot to look foward to in February. Not only will "The Walking Dead" lurch back on to TV for the second half of season three (preview here) after a cliffhanger eighth episode last night, but another spin on the genre will arrive in the form of Jonathan Levine's "Warm Bodies."
Based on the book by Isaac Marion, the story follows R (Nicholas Hoult), a zombie who finds himself infatuated with the human Julie (Teresa Palmer). It's a comedic, romantic riff on the genre and Levine has lined up a pretty solid cast of players including John Malkovich as the zombie hunting baddie, Rob Corddry, Dave Franco, Analeigh Tipton and more. A couple of playful new stills have arrived — yep that's Lucio Fulci's classic up above — along with a 60 second trailer that offers up a little more footage.
"Warm Bodies" goes for the heart on February 1, 2013.
