So a movie about a guy who loses his dog who gets help from someone named Master Chang played by William Fichnter? Yep, that sounds about right for Quentin Dupieux. The director who broke out with his deliriously odd tire killer movie "Rubber" returns with "Wrong." And for anyone seeking something way off the beaten path, it will feel so right.
Featuring Jack Plotnock, Steve Little, Alexis Dziena and more, the story centers around a man who is looking for his lost dog and along the way comes across a nympho pizza delivery girl, a jogging neighbor and a mysterious righter of wrongs. The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012 and spent the year on the festival circuit, and it's now set to come into your living room. But be warned, it may disappoint. Our own review from Park City said the film "is a fog of phoniness and so-unhip-its-hip visual storytelling with no story to tell."
Check out the new trailer below and see for yourself on February 1st, when it lands on VOD. And if you like the music, you can pick up a soundtrack sampler over at Alamo Drafthouse. [Apple/io9]
