We did quite a bit of coverage during this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, but in its wake we have had time to scan through interviews with the stars and creative teams behind the films and found some amusing and interesting highlights we initially missed. They range from Rian Johnson talking about his semi-plagiaristic new film, to Mickey Rourke discussing his on set frustration with Darren Aronofsky’s direction and even Kevin Smith discussing his homo-erotic observations from the set of “Zach and Miri Make a Porno.” Kudos to Spout for some much heavy lifting.

Maybe if Mickey wins the Oscar, he should explicitly thank Aronofsky’s asshole-nish. [MTV]

Did Rian Johnson actually say that? He seems to kinda downplay it in that Spout interview.

At first I thought they were all satirical, especially with the “I wanna eat him” line about Cera, but then I found out the guy actually said that so I didn’t know what to believe anymore. You play with my head, Playlist!
