“Dollface“
Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, and Shay Mitchell star in Hulu’s ‘Dollface.” Dennings plays Julies, a woman who, after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend in season one, had to deal with her active imagination as she began to reenter the world of women and female friendships that she had ignored for her romantic relationships. Created by Jordan Weiss, the second season will follow the core group following the public drama at an acquaintance’s wedding in the finale.
Release Date: Season 2 premieres on February 11 on Hulu.
“Inventing Anna“
Based on the article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” by reporter Jessica Pressler, “Inventing Anna” is the latest series created and produced by Shonda Rhimes. The consistently excellent Julia Garner (“Ozark“) plays Anna, an Instagram-legendary heiress who stole the hearts and money of New York elites whose story is about to be shared by a journalist investigating the case. Anna Chlumsky (“Veep,”) Katie Lowes (“Scandal,”) and Laverne Cox (“Orange Is the New Black“) also star.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres on February 11 on Netflix.
“Severance”
Created by Dan Erickson, “Severance” stars an all-star cast led by Adam Scott and rounded out with Britt Lower, Christopher Walker, John Turturro, and Patricia Arquette. Scott plays Mark, who leads a team at Lumon Industries and whose employees have undergone a severance procedure that surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle direct episodes of the series, which might have one of the more original premises of shows being released this month.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres on February 18 on Apple TV+.
“Super Pumped: Battle For Uber“
The first installment of an anthology drama created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, “Super Pumped: Battle For Uber,” follows one of Silicon Valley’s most successful and destructive companies, Uber. Told from the perspective of CEO Travis Kalanick (played by Joseph Gordon Levitt,) the series will follow his highs and lows before he’s ultimately ousted due to internal and external battles within the company. Kyle Chandler, Kerry Bishé, and Hank Azaria also star.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres on February 27 on Showtime.
“Killing Eve“
Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer return as Eve and Villanelle for the fourth and final season of fan-favorite “Killing Eve.” Following the end of season three, which saw the once spy and assassin develop their complicated relationship in a new way, season four will look to answer unresolved questions while hopefully offering closure for the two characters and their electrifying dynamic. Fiona Shaw and Kim Bodnia will reprise their roles as Carolyn and Konstantin, while Gemma Whelan, Camille Cottin, and Ayoola Smart will also be returning for the final season.
Release Date: Season 4 premieres on February 27 on Hulu.
“Better Things”
This winter, another series that is having its curtain call “Better Things” will end with its fifth season. Pamela Adlon returns as single-mother Sam along with Olivia Edward, Hannah Alligood, and Mikey Madison as her three daughters. Widely considered one of the best comedies of the last decade, the show has been commended for its empathetic performances and realistic look at motherhood. The series will look to wrap up storylines and tensions between Sam and her daughters and her ex-husband.
Release Date: Season 5 premieres on February 28 on FX.
