“Atlanta”
Following its ambitious third season earlier this year that saw the main characters abroad, “Atlanta” makes a quick return for its fourth and final season. Created by Donald Glover, he, along with the regular cast, including Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Stanfield, and Zazie Beetz, will return as the story follows our characters coming home to Atlanta after their extended tour in Europe. The experimental half-hour series is also executively produced by Glover, along with Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms, and Dianne McGunigle.
Release Date: Season four premieres September 15 on FX.
“Los Espookys”
After the set shutting down due to COVID-19, “Los Espookys” is finally returning with its second season. Created by Julio Torres, Fred Armisen, and Ana Fabrega, the comedy follows the characters as they are forced to enlist an old acquaintance to challenge the political status quo as they continue their peculiar business of bringing their love of horror to others. Torres, Armisen, and Fabrega star along with Cassandra Ciangherotti, Bernardo Velasco, and José Pablo Minor.
Release Date: Season two premieres September 16 on HBO.
“Reboot”
With one of the more eclectic casts of the fall season with Rachel Bloom, Keegan–Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, and Paul Reiser, “Reboot” aims at Hollywood’s insistence on reviving old sitcoms. “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star and creator Bloom plays the young writer who pitches the reboot of the fictional 2000’s hit sitcom “Step Right Up,” resulting in the original cast having to grapple with unresolved tensions and social media backlash. This is the latest from “Modern Family” creator Steven Levitan.
Release Date: Season one premieres September 20 on Hulu.
